Your blades, sharpened properly.
Kitchen knives, outdoor blades, and workshop tools — restored to their original geometry on a water-cooled Tormek system. No burnt steel. No guessed angles.
Based in Vereeniging, serving Gauteng
Four kinds of edge. Four true angles.
Every blade is ground to the angle it was designed for — not a generic edge. That's the difference between sharp today and sharp in six months.
Kitchen Knives
15–20°Chef's, paring, bread, and santoku — ground for clean, repeatable cuts in the kitchen.
"My knife goes dull after a week of chopping."
Hunting & Outdoor
20–25°Tougher, more durable edges built to handle field use and harder materials.
"The edge chips when I hit bone or hardwood."
Scissors & Shears
Paired BevelPaired-blade sharpening that keeps both edges meeting cleanly along their full length.
"They fold the material instead of cutting cleanly."
Woodturning & Chisels
25–35°Gouges, skews, parting tools, and bench chisels — ground to the correct profile and bevel.
"The bevel is uneven from years of freehand grinding."
Also available: Drill bit sharpening — twist drills restored to a clean, centred point on the Tormek drill jig.
Straight pricing. No surprises.

Bsharp is a dedicated sharpening service — not a hardware shop doing it on the side.
1Tormek Water-Cooled Grinding
Unlike high-speed dry grinders that can overheat steel and draw the temper (turning the edge soft and blue), the Tormek runs in a water bath. The steel stays cool. The hardness stays intact. The edge lasts.
2Jig-Controlled Consistency
Every blade is locked into a purpose-built jig. The angle is set once and maintained through the entire pass. Freehand grinding introduces wobbles and micro-bevels that dull faster.
3Hand-Tested Before Dispatch
Every edge is checked by hand — not just visually inspected — before it leaves the workshop. If it doesn't pass, it goes back on the stone.
Three steps. One proper edge.
